My husband made sure I brought plenty to keep me busy...therapy. I started to make a flower out of pine cones. Looks a little primative right now, but the natural material will make a great form and base to paint.
Also, I started to make sand candles. The process is a little primative at the camp. I used a 'make do' double boiler and melted the wax on a camp stove! It was fun. I ran out of plastic buckets to do the sand molds. Not to worry, an empty toaster box did just as well! Also, a 'coke can' was the perfect shape and diameter that I needed. I was 'stressing' to figure out what I would use for the mold, and then in the early morning hours, just waking up, it hit me!! A coke can!! You never know when inspiration will hit you. I'll get another picture of the finished candles when they are done.
